Yes Neil, the article is almost as glaringly ‘blind’ in it’s belief structures as are most fundamentalist theologies.
Sadly fran, often such discussions/debates do degenerate into an epistemology based on linguistic acumen. The truth is that science uses specific methods and beliefs to report one aspect of reality and being. As you have clearly stated, it does not have the tools to deal with things beyond it’s rather limited purview. Further, when closely examined, the ‘common sense’ view of reality (matter etc.) does not at all match what science posits. The truth is that integral philosophy can and does address these issues…and in a scientific way.
