You may be right gruff, I've heard that some wine additives are carcinogenic and who really knows what is going on with cheap beer these days. Wine mostly for me except the occassional beer of the German origin, at least there is a purity edict. I've known people who outright abused themselves to no end and lived to a ripe old age, so I don't spend much time worrying about it but just take casual precaution. You are definitely right about the stress, anxiety and tension contributors to ill health. I had a brother in law who died in his thirties. He was the text book case, poster child for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. When anyone would visit he would vacuum their shoes right after they took them off at the door. When they left he would vacuum the whole place and everywhere anyone sat. He was crazy with it. His car wash included seat removal and paneling in order to clean under and behind, hidden dirt lol. Needless to say, cancer took him away. It's so long ago I don't remember much of the details but I wasn't surprised when I heard about his early demise.
