Religion is supported by a dogma. You said, "can seemingly astral project at will, i am rather doubtful that this is possible", denying the dogma of astral projection which professes that it is accessible to anyone with willful exercise. There are other claims of the dogma that don't click in my understanding of extended mental abilities.
