Yes sir we shall. Death is, The End, of Life as we know it, absolutely with out a doubt.
I will say to flourish and 'progress' is the purpose of Life. Life is the product of an intelligence that can overcome things detrimental to it. Propagation has been to date the method available for progress, not necessarily the only solution for the continuance of Life. We have within our collective 'self-conscious' the dream of Utopia and the idea of 'not' dieing. It is a possibility to 'progress' towards. The common fear of the unknown (death), causes the fabrication of an after-life. Of course while fabricating the fantasy it would be presented as perfect. The intelligence of the Life force knows that it is possible for us to progress beyond dieing, that's why the idea is in our collective intelligence. Accepting death as it is, The End, does not include a fantasy of another life beginning when one gives up the one and only Life they will ever have. One does have a fear of ceasing to exist if they cannot accept The End. Yes it is up to us, we are the leading edge of the intelligence that supports Life. When we can overcome the 'fear' as Slip suggests in the Common Mentality thread, we will progress towards the "dream of Utopia". peace & Love On Apr 25, 4:37 pm, frantheman <[email protected]> wrote: > Lets have a little dialectic here, shall we? > > Death presents us as humans with a problem, we have major problems > accepting it for what it most obviously is - the end. > > This is not surprising, as two basic impulses come into direct > conflict.
