Congratulations Rosey, I don't know about addiction but I have had the internet (originally with compuserve) since 1986 I got it for my company in July before my daughter was born and have more or less had it continuously since originally my company rand a bbs (bulletin board service) for the company and my friends.
As for addiction I don't know I am on it for long hours some time it has run into days during the early years, mostly do to work,, skittles and coffee was considered a healthy diet then. never have visited porn sites, can not stand gambling ( why do I want to give someone else my money) ( do not do lottery either) and I am not a gamer, over the years i have enjoyed chatting,, it was my social life,, my ranch being 90 miles from the nearest town and I quit drinking almost 30 years ago.. Addiction I don't know it has been a part of my life for decades now and my children grew up with it. Though they are very good with the computer it is just another tool. meditation is more enjoy. today I no long ranch, life is much quieter since I retired 8 years ago.
