yes never thought of that,, an earthly "hell" .. It seems to me that it would be very possible to create simple communities in space. it would be easier than trying to go to a different planet.. and the materials are readily available in the asteroid belt. gravity could be created with centrifugal force. advances in hydroponics it would not take much to create food for millions.
Life could be simple.. and those that do not want to participate,, send them off to "Hell" earth with no right of return.. I don't think asto turf would sound like an authoritative name.. I think it would be totally seperate from earth.. It seems one would not want the nations of earth interfering with decision that effect the community. Personally I would not want to have any obligations to earth at all,, I would not want the greed of the earth effecting the resources of the community.
