I think you may have inadvertantly hit on something here. The point is, there is none point to life other than to live. And understand that I mean life in general, all life, not just human.
As to a porpouse to life, for us humans(as it does seem that mentaly we need such a thing) well my friend that is for the indivdual to find. So perhaps a better question would be, what's your porpourse?
