no i have not...i guess its hard to relate my experiences to those of
others...i feel that the desire for spiritual enlightenment (for the
lack of a better phrase) is the best bait for attracting spiritual
interaction. i constantly put the door mat out after i first started
feeling things that i could not put a word to, but liked...most of
these 'events' happened just before sleep with eyes closed.

one of the first things i remember experiencing started out as more of
a physical experience, disorientation. while lying in bed one night i
had the distinct feeling that my head was near the door at the foot of
my bed. i tried unsuccessfully to turn the feeling around, but it
stayed with me until i opened my eyes. after about 3 such incidents i
wondered if i could maintain the feeling of disorientation after
opening my eyes...the next time the feeling came over me, i was just
about to open my eyes to get rid of the feeling, when i remembered my
previous thought.

i concentrated on the feeling and then opened my eyes...and the
feeling stayed! from that moment on i was hooked on whatever it was
that i was dealing with. things progressed over the years until i
started having what i can best describe as obe's or astral
projection.

in between i welcomed any such feeling that wanted to visit me. when
something happened, i revelled in it for days, bringing the experience
to the forefront of my thoughts for extended periods, washing myself
in the joy and amazement of the event. i yearned for more, and this
desire, combined with keeping these wonderful events close to heart,
is sorta what i mean by polishing ones spirit.

i realize that this isnt much of an explanation, but its the best i
can do since even relaying some of the experiences i went through
cannot easily be described.
