The most severely affected by the ‘fear of the unknown’ cannot see it. They are so blinded to a simple idea that they cannot even make sense of simple English about the idea. The ‘fear’ is the enforcer of the ‘direction’ of Society. The belief structure is the answer to the ‘unknown’, so that we can Live without the ‘fear’ disturbing us. When the belief structure gets questioned, challenged or indicated to be false it is shaken and the ‘fear’ does become disturbing. The ‘fear’ will drive, enforcing the ‘direction’ of Society, the individual to negate that which has shaken the belief structure. The funny thing about it is that it affects some of the closest to true ‘open’-mindedness most dramatically. The closer one is to ‘open’, the more flexible the belief structure. This allows for a more vigorous shaking, greater arousal of the ‘fear’ and the dramatically irrational reactions.
That is a metaphorical explanation (very close to reality) of a simple, electricity like, force identified as “the ‘direction’ of Society”. ‘Direction’ is a simple yin/yang force. ‘S’ociety is the containment of the force relative to Life on Earth. It is the energetic sum total, of mankind’s actions and interactions on and with the planet Earth. Presently the ‘direction’ is grounded to the physical world to give the ‘fear’ its power of enforcement. The Feeling (of goodness, of Love, of beauty, of cosmic consciousness, of the presence of God and/or whatever one chooses to call the connection in the mind to ‘other than’ the physical world) is the certifier or justifier of the belief structure. It has the power to quiet the fear of the unknown, by releasing the ground and allowing the force to flow to ‘other than’ the physical world. If we can establish a common point of understanding, with a universal symbol referring to the Feeling, the ground that supports the fear will be broken. We CAN, evolve to Live without the ‘fear’ that is responsible for all of the negative actions of mankind if we “Teach the World a Word”. BLitTeR – acknowledge the Feeling.
