In my understanding of Kaballah (bastardized Western style), God has different aspects depending on where in the process of creation you may see 'him' from. The highest is called the "Crown" but can be described as having two faces, one towards us, and one away. The one facing away contains mysteries that we will never have access to, and is 'God the Unknowable'. From the Godhead he eminates the next Aspect, which is the great 'creative potential', the lifeforce of the universe.
