Slip- this appears to be a recurring "theme" with you (we all have our pet themes after all) and I am not suggesting you are racist, just for the record.
I live in an area that has been completely overwhelmed with "recent immigrants" (some call them illegal aliens) I have no problem with people of other countries, races, what have you. I like the people I have met. The company I have worked for, for 25 years is as diverse as you could imagine. This has been a very good experience for me. We just have to get to know people to see them as no different than us, only from a different culture. There are differences of course, but after we get to know each other, we can still be friends and we understand each other, for the most part. I wonder if say England has experienced any immigrants who come to the country knowing the "benefits" offered there compared to their own country? I wonder if that causes any tensions or concerns? I wonder if that is why they came? I know that all the immigrants that come to Kalifownia seek "opportunity" that apparently does not exist in Mexico. I Can't blame them. Nobody blames Mexico it seems but anyway, it does have an effect on the economy in good ways and not so good ways. It is an adjustment. Cheap labor is good and it is not so good. An influx of people who use the emergency room as the doctor is not good. The people who join gangs? Not good. It is a mixed bag.
