Thanks for the insight Vam and for adding a stone to the foundation which has formed over the science and religion base. Yes it is obvious to all those about except those lost in the perplexities of wealth. There are those whom I guess sense the need for responsibility but most fall into wanton waste and extravagance. Rand would of course vindicate the wealthy as part of her individualistic concept of personal satisfaction and I guess we could tack on Darwinian survival of the wealthiest. Does wealth transcend moralistic and humanistic value? I think there is this understood acceptance of poverty as corollary to wealth and some in a theistic form find textural references that substantiate it.
