I don't believe I have ever been loved. I know I have. Love is an
emotion, it is felt, not spoken in words. Two sharing intimate love do
not need to tell each other "I love you", although they may do so 100
times a day. Their love is knowledge, and words are not needed to
support the insecurity of a relationship that exists without shared
love. Some may say "I love you" for many reasons, dependency,
infatuation, insecurity, a lie to get what they want, etc. It is up to
the recipient of the words to decipher the true meaning.

I will not take words on face (faith) value, as words are empty
without emotion. I know what you are getting at, and there may be
brief moments in my life where I trust what someone is saying it true,
but I will not put all my eggs in that basket until the words prove
themselves out. Faith to me is a scarey thing and I avoid it like the
plague.
