I would completely agree, Pat, that as our viewpoint changes, our
perception of the patterns change.  Where there seemed to be no
pattern yesterday, becomes a pattern of deeper meaning today.  Our
conscious contemplation of our own ascemic symbolism and collective
archetypes can provide dramatic changes in view.
