Archytas, Some really good points in there. I'm a huge advocate of science and learning about the word around us, but when it gets down to it the only thing really left worth examining is us. Star Trek is not possible today, as it was in the 60's, but many science fiction fans miss the point. Science Fiction is speculatory, it's not about what is possible, it's about what *we* will do when the impossible becomes possible. This is something that is important to ponder as we gain amazing powers through science.
BTW, anyone read Vallis by Philip K. Dick? I'm about a couple chapters away from finishing it.. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups ""Minds Eye"" group.
