All relate to the "Truth". Is discretion used to spare or deceive?
Honesty is a moment's attempt at truth. An opinion is a personal,
subjective evaluation. Truth cannot be Absolute since it is subject to
correction and change- in that regard it is like scientific, rational
inquiry. Nevertheless, "Honesty is the best policy" in most cases-
unless you are a prisoner of war and a lie will save your buddies,
unless a Greater Good is accomplished, unless your work/ social groups
depend on bs and flattery, etc.
