I think the diversity is what makes life so interesting, allows progress and change, and am not sure we should or will ever all think as one. Yet, while we have our differences, we also have our commonalities. We are all, from time to time, are inspired, feel sensation, have emotion, are driven to survive. By the way, I can see the best in your second quote, but not the first, not at all.
