Oh, come now Archy. You don't really want to be free of giving thanks and of human reciprocity. Else why did you go fix Flo's gadgets and write of her charming and thoughtful reciprocity? To me these sorts of interactions are the best of our humanity - caring for one another in simple, thoughtful ways and appreciating the care shown us by others.
