Sadly all so right Pat.  I fully agree on the Islam bit too.  I was
very impressed by this side of it on my travels.  Much less with some
other practical aspects.  We have been short on positive aspects of
taking such spirit into practical action.  What you say on Copenhagen
could also be taken into politics and business more widely.  Why we
need Westminster in the 21st century is beyond my ken and the
existence of this kind of strangely parochial power politics gives us
such vile creatures as Blair strutting on the war stage.  Many more
could have had a say and produced some facts for public dialogue
through a modern electronic conference.
