This one I wrote last night. I was 'inspired', in a sense, by
fiddler's requirement of 'proof of Oneness', which I allude to in the
13th line. And, yes, Molly, if you like it and want to, feel free to
post it on your blogsite!!

                          Love Is

Love is not an emotion; but, rather ‘tis a feeling
That boils forth from within, compelling us to care.
Love is spiritual gravity that sends us reeling
To harbour our beloved and always be there.

To love is to cherish; never is it just to desire.
It is the seam that binds souls one to another.
It makes us to hold dear and consumes us with a great fire
That Nature’s greatest vacuum could never smother.

Love is a force, irresistible, that cannot be forced
To move toward a particular direction.
It is Cupid’s bending bow and we are the arrows coursed.
’Tis to highly value and our souls’ advection.

To feel it, one for another, is the proof of a link
Like the pen needs paper and the paper needs ink.
To hold it, one for each other, is the highest of goals
Like that which is borne by the rarest of saints’ souls.
