Your perceptions are amiss. I'm serious. I came here hoping for rational discussion. I'm not getting much of that. I am getting attacked in a stupid personal manner. I am also getting some interesting and friendly responses. The jury is still out, but I'm inclining towards the opinion, which seemed to me to be exaggerated, of someone at the BBC Radio 4 message boards who, when I pointed them to this place, described it as a "bear pit". And that was before this latest shockingly silly and unpleasant outburst from 'fiddler'! My life may be pretty crap, but I really do have better things to do than put up with this kind of petty stupidity. http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbradio4/F2766774?thread=7217808&skip=40&show=20 (Message #42) (However, ' Rooooosta Sings....Cecil' is not the most serious of people, so don't take it to heart too much!) > What are you out of here for, because of " any more of this " ? I hope I have now explained that to your satisfaction. > Rethink, if you may, why you are acting out of your emotions, when they need > to be understood. I agree, and of course I /am/ thinking about it. But there may simply come a time when I will conclude that I should cut my losses. > Nobody has launched paranoid attacks on you. I quote: 'WOW!! I was just pointed out how much you resemble that fucking idiot troll named ear-space! Yes, you do indeed share nearly every characteristic with it! I hesitate to call you "he" because if you are ear-space, then I refuse to accept that ear-space is male and I refuse to label you "she" because I refuse to insult women by equating them with ear-space. If I'm wrong, may vam cast me into his cute lil hell, but maybe instead you can avoid trolling and continue to involve yourself in real conversation.' I call that a paranoid attack. What do you call it? > Funny, you have such spare time and attention to see > them with such vividity, dwell upon upon them, be affected by their > ( non existent ) reality ? ! Come on, do something better. This is not going well.
