Some physicists believe that consciousness could be as fundamental a part of the universe as matter and energy Penrose and hameroff and their quantum computation in brain microtubules have laid a theoretical foundation that could explain how a personality (as in thought patterns) could persist after death. Could the ellusive soul be concentrated and focused consciousness?
