We are warned by the Atlantic in winter unless the ice winds can force in from continental Europe. We've had a couple of days of snow and the pup has been eating it with some gusto on his walks inbetween trying to pull me base over apex. A chill wind is blowing in world trade from the Baltic Dry Index, as shipping lines offer deals to share losses with customers rather than try to make a profit as the number of ships is in oversupply against work available. Much shipping is financed through Greek banks - all making me think economics is like the weather. A cold wind in the Baltic (the index is from London really) leads to catastrophe in sunny Greece.
