Our economies are now recovering thanks to the inclusion of crime in our official statistics. Crime has long been estimated at 2.5% of our GDP - though in fact it is much higher. In Britain we spend more on hookers and blow (0.87%) than beer and wine, though the European powerhouse is Germany at 2.5% - vorsprung dorch vice. One suspects the group's contribution to this economic growth engine is lamentably low. Indeed.my own contribution has been entirely negative over the years.
