We actually set out to write learning programmes in which we accredited prior and other experiential learning - but we couldn't find academics prepared 'not to teach it' and 'death by powerpoint' was much cheaper and simplistic. I gave up eventually, though tried the 'theatre of the oppressed' ... think Gabby is a genuine practitioner of similar (yoof version), but with that British reserve one doesn't pry.
