I am partially with Andrew on this one. The thing that hurts an oppressor/bully the most is being ignored. For me personally I have always liked the challenge of using a reverse engineered argument to counter bullying. If someone calls me, for example, "A Christian fundamentalist" I would say "thanks".
I hate heavy handed moderating. Once you go down the path of selective censorship it is a bottomless pit. I have said this before and will repeat it until people understand, that we must give others the "right to be ignorant".
