This idea has been circulating in my head ever since i saw the skycat. After the java disaster it became even more ideal as it can carry cargo do not need a runway.. problems like terrorist attacks can be taken in stride with multi layered nitrogen filled gas bags.. silk like fabric can repel bullets be absorbing the bullets energy .. hydrogen can be safely used as the lifting gas and readily available.
I think that the airship could be of great benefit in disasters as well as air transport economy. They are much more economical that cargo jets carrying cargo although not as fast.
