I might agree too Andrew - if there wasn't a certain cycle to the violence and the way it becomes personal, like estate gossip and neighbour dispute. Now Gabby rides in on her winged rocking high horse, not long various aspersion casting sessions. No one seems to pick up on the underlying arguments that much of the inertial forms of violence prevent us being able to talk about what might matter. Gabby was even recently prodding away at this on bullying and that amazing non-personal statistics she uses to not be talking about herself in consideration of the bully Gabby.
I felt something like Gabby says here, plus the usual feeling that people rarely want to do more than gossip like this, itself insulting to the energies in preparation of actual argument. People doing this over the years have left because no one engages in feedback and the class is run by the kids chattering at the back.
