Natural science used to be a more inclusive, and to my mind more preferred, term for science. That was before men began to know more and more about less and less. I want specialisations and like specialists. But I prefer scientists who would hold the synthesised view out of his observations. Darwin's was absolutely exceptional. His work could be incorrect on several counts but it includes within its ambit the man making the observation.
