Sourceforge is amazing efficient at hiding files :-).
I just tried the file :
mingw-w64_x86-64_linux32_4.4.0-1.tar.bz2
from sourceforge which was dated "Thu May 21 2009 17:12". That didn't
fix the problem.
Then tried "mingw-w64-bin_i686-linux_20090612.tar.bz2. Still no fix.
