Interesting, I cant reproduce this error: I cross-compiled the package on linux for x64, configured like ../gsl-1.14/configure --host=x86_64-w64-mingw32 --disable-shared --enable-static and did a 'make -j2', no errors, make install to a temporary also succeeded. Notice that I built in a separate directory, although I'm unsure about how it can make a difference here. My 'x86_64-w64-mingw32-gcc -v' output: Using built-in specs.
