I actually started to do some work in this area both in dlltool and  
the linker (linker support for the delay version of the .idata sections)

I'm still waiting for my FSF paperwork that's finally on its way but  
if someones already doing this I'll just delay my work (pun  
intended).  Especially if I ever get around to moving the import  
generation to bfd...
