I did have a try at this mailing lists archive but couldn't find it there. I use MSYS and had to pass an argument to configure to get a library to build 32-bit or 64-bit libraries. I would like to know what these arguments are? Check the mingw-w64 wiki: http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/mingw-w64/wiki/MSYS The arguments are: for 32-bit: --host=i686-w64-mingw32 for 64-bit: --host=x86_64-w64-mingw32 Ruben
