No, I figured it out, but thank you for the offer. It turns out, as JonY suggested regarding the Interface definition, i686-w64-mingw32 (and mingw32.org for that matter), didn't like how I defined the ShellDesktopTray interface. Once I converted it to a more "traditional" MinGW style interface definition everything worked fine. The only thing I can figure is that MSVC and x86_64-w64-mingw32 are more forgiving in that respect. Cheers!
