I didn't try to put the installation anywhere except /usr/mwxx or in
/home/user/mwxx because that's where user installations are usually done.

I hadn't seen anything on the permissions problem.  I'll try installing the
bleeding edge cross-compilers in /usr/mwbexx the next time I download a
later build, and if the permissions problem has gone away I'll simplify the
wiki page.

Hi,

so far it looks OK. Can you put a note that users shouldn't install it to
high up in the directory hierarchy? eg using /opt will fail, but /opt/foo
works fine.

Regarding the permission problems, I thought it had been fixed recently,
maybe I am mistaken, could you check?
