-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello,
I'm working on DFP math for mingw-w64, the main hurdle is that the mathematical values should never be converted to conventional floating point. Dr Beard, I'm hoping you can help me out on this task in the future. I have some documentation on the BID encoding used for the DFP numbers at <http://mingw-w64.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/mingw-w64/experimental/dfp_math/dfp_internal.h?revision=4087&view=markup>. The encoding documentation is around the middle of the file, the rest of my code are a sad embarrassment to look at. They're mostly for testing the encoding, not for practical use. There are more documentation at: <http://h21007.www2.hp.com/portal/site/dspp/menuitem.863c3e4cbcdc3f3515b49c108973a801?ciid=8cf166fedd1aa110VgnVCM100000a360ea10RCRD> Without proper mathematical theory background, implementing the math library would be a bit hard, especially if it needs to be run efficient. I also welcome anybody else with the required background knowledge. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.16 (MingW32) iEYEARECAAYFAk2J8jwACgkQp56AKe10wHdvtwCdEYLcGJb/pfKT7VpLscXuLARc N6cAn1Mf6Zgmz5quldFCTbTEUmLWt2vG =fdTm -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
