Hi guys,
I have been hacking at libc++ again, and came pretty far (mostly through use
of the *_l functions in newer msvcrt libraries), but am about to hit
catgets, catopen, catclose, and fear that either libc++ will need a huge
overhaul for Windows in hat regard, or I would need to include code from
MinGW's libcatgets, which I would trust as ok and usable. The problem is
that libc++ is fundamentally BSD-compatibly licensed, and libcatgets is
GPLv2.
I would like to ask you if:
- this is a sensible approach
- Keith could be persuaded to relicense that particular code (I thought he
was/is a MinGW developer at some point in time). I understand you aren't
Keith, but it woulld be stupid asking him when my first question is still
unanswered.
- My libc++ changes are located here:

any of this have a place in MinGW-w64? I would kind of be opposed against
it, as currently my patch should also work with MSVC up till now. This would
mean I need to convince Keith to donate his catgets implementation to libc++
as well (if it's usable for this purpose).
