Hallo Kai,

i would really be interested to know about their setup / configure options, as
the automated MinGw binary doesn't works for me.
Please note that i just have downloaded SeZero MinGW build, and applied the
latest revision patch. i am now able to compile Qt 4.8.1.
Do you have any idea what could be fondamentally different from SeZero's build
and the automated one?

Yes, any source i have found talking about the matter has a link on my
desktop...

i had this page in bookmark, that's why i detailed in my previous mail that i
tried Qt's configure script with --host, with --target, with --build. None of
them worked, as Qt's configure script isn't accepting any of those triplets
(./configure --help doesn't mention how to achieve a XCompilation nor to give
the target architecture / system). i think this is because Qt is QMake based,
and doesn't use autotools / autoconf / autostuffthingy to make the configure
file.

This fails with the MinGW automated MSYS build for Qt 4.8.1 (Untested with Qt
4.6) with the message from my previous email.

Right now, i'm compiling Qt 4.8.1 with SeZero's build of MinGW-w64 (32 bits for
MSys), it didn't fail for now.

So my question is standing:
- Why SeZero's build works at this job while the automated build doesn't?
- When ./configuring a compilation, if the ./configure script doesn't accept
the build tripplets, how do you specify the target host / system etc?

Thanks a lot,
Pierre.
