Yes Joshua, this is important pointing that out. However,
there are limitations (E.g. in Express 2008, there isn't a
graphical resource editor). i'm not saying they're not
useable, but at least require tweaking and third-party
tools that could not work with later upgrades.
Also (The last time i tried), third-party plugins don't work
with such free version (E.g. the Qt add-in!). Correct me
if i'm wrong.
