Again, i'm amazed by MinGW-w64!!! i just wanted to say that everything is working as expected with the -static linker switch. For those interested, it is then very easy to get a "redistribuable-less" version of Qt IFW as suggested in this bug report: https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTIFW-134
You would just add the "-startic" option to the "installer" binary link cycle, or more simply in the "installerifw.pri" file like this: win32: LIBS += -static You would then just make clean && make.
