Hi,

The change follows the thread on the mailing-list, discussions on IRC
(various channels) and with IRL testers; the goal was to get as much
input as possible.

Quite obviously, the goal of the new download page is to make it easier
to find relevant information and downloads. I've had positive feedback
for the newest page so far but as with any overhaul and rewrite, I
expect things to require a few rounds of improvements.

Following your email I checked the page again and sure enough there were
things to improve. I hope the quick-links to the various sections make
it easier to navigate and I've also filled the "Others" and "Source"
sections more.

The SVN info was already there. However the "Source" section didn't have
the quick-navigation entry it has now; is it better?
I chose to link to the SF.net page which gives the URI rather than
putting it directly in the page. Would it be better without the
indirection?
