I've discussed with JonY and Kaï a bit on IRC about a JS widget that would ask a couple question and redirect to the "right" download. It would be very different from my previous attempt in that it would be much smaller. Experience and time have shown what currently leads to questions and in practice it's much smaller than I had thought.
