Somehow, the idea of approaching developers of a project and saying "Hey, would you want to change the way stpcpy is detected in your autoconf scripts? This will make it compatible with non-existing mingw-w64 features!" seems to be doomed to fail. I've been treated with silence on binutils ML, and that conversation didn't even had mentions of the "non-existing" part. - -- O< ascii ribbon - stop html email! - www.asciiribbon.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (MingW32) iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJSZSHJAAoJEOs4Jb6SI2CwUH8IAJMeV6YzZ6AgDNGoovUE1MJP Bh84zxpWJDpTeFRGKCT3Zb3M5P3mOZhxhl3Puf+2wpj4QZd4ow1D5MkbsJNHL+tR u9JZxrdKpfD4Jd9VT0fdfB+WS0aFDLI+e4tQomi55qjEzlb2P1oYlmH9LNtPKr9e yJ7aX4gggqq9PBxddFcJfK7IM4QxtI0qDIvBuBgAEn8P4arFGKMulNWfrcj51VwJ LcGHTxpI2vd/zPILCbrrbKVrrwa742z8Ptgxps2t6AIPeZrywdt5PeB6jKZNbv68 AUZ5z/9+Sb0eEZQHox08KjMig3bISpIR02loffy119iEdFVQLPdcfiahLdZyhDI= =Ks14 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ October Webinars: Code for Performance Free Intel webinars can help you accelerate application performance.
