The "compiler" doesn't come with "make.exe". No decent native Windows
toolchain should even contain a "make.exe", it should be named
"mingw32-make.exe", and this is exactly the reason why the naming has to be
the way it is. The toolchain in the OP's email does it right, so I don't
see why you would need to make make.exe go away.

No need to mess with MSYS2 PATH or configuration fiel. And also no need to
have to seperate installations of MSYS2 for the two targets. You have
shortcuts that add /mingw64/bin or /mingw32/bin to PATH automatically, or
you can do it manually when you need a quick switch.

Don't underestimate MSYS2, it's quite brilliant in its relative simplicity
;-)
