Would you please re-send the patches generated using `git format-patch`
as _attachments_? Since SourceForge doesn't handle .patch files very
well you can rename them to .txt. This way the patches can be applied
using `git am`. Thanks.
I can resend these patches as attachments, but will this be a
requirement for future patches? The contribute page[1] says both
git-send-email and git-format-patch forms are allowed and I find it more
convenient to use send-email. I've noticed other people on this list use
send-email patches as well.
git-am works on both forms of patches, eg. for send-email format
patches, you run `git am email.eml` on the message itself.
