The page on MSYS2 wiki contains instructions to build for both MSYS2 and
native and is (more importantly) too long, which might result in
confusion. (It would be a pity for any project to be short of a Quick
Guide or Getting Started etc.)
Maybe a rework of the wiki could present a better place than the ticket
you mention below.
See this previous mail [1] for simplified steps on how to build native
packages. Differences are:
2. CD into `mingw-w64-gcc` instead of `mingw-w64-binutils`.
4. Delete `ada,` from the string following `--enable-languages=`,
because it would result in an internal compiler error. You are free
to remove more.
