The patch LGTM, but the commit reference is wrong here. (That's an artifact from git blame when the files were merged.)
The right commit to reference, where it was fixed for x86_64 but not for x86_32, is bfff0eedb7 (bfff0eedb7840e4cf1d364c0fe9a56fa5aa8d2fc).
