I tried to use &IID_ID3D12Device and link with -ldxguid, sort of as suggested here.. https://github.com/microsoft/DirectX-Graphics-Samples/issues/567 .. yet with/without -ldxguid the error undefined reference to `IID_ID3D12Device' occurs either way.
