Something similar to this was already applied recently, in
6f39afb65d9e452ab077b110669df41a1d328d5c last week. Your patch adds a few
missing symbols though, and I can retain those in your patch, but I guess
I'd need to tweak the commit message a bit. Or if you have time, a
rerolled rewritten patch for this one would be good.
