hi,

the handhelds kernel has ipv6 support; you'll need to get the 2.6.15 kernel source and apply the mipv6 patch, then build. do an anonymous checkout from handhelds (find the exact anoncvs address on the site) thus:

cvs co -r K2-6-15-hh1 linux/kernel26

because the current version is 2.6.16, which won't patch happily.

If you are considering Linux on pda take a look at the Familiar distribution on www.handhelds.org <http://www.handhelds.org>. Whether you get mobile ipv6 support or not depends on your device. I am using an IPAQ 5450 running Familiar 0.8.4-rc1 with a 2.4.19 kernel. This has mobile IPv6 support and it does work when I use it as MN and against a HA using mipl-2.0.1. I am not sure if the devices using a 2.6-kernel has IPv6 support. Leif
